As the temperatures are getting (slightly) cooler, we’re starting to experience some relief from the infamous Charleston heat. We’re flipping through the latest Charleston Home and Design magazine (look for our Ad here) and taking in inspiration and starting to get excited. Whether you’re ready or not, the 2018 holiday season is getting closer and closer. It seems like just yesterday we were gathered around the table eating far too much scrumptious food and arguing with that certain relative about something trivial.
At Steven Shell Living, we hope we can help alleviate some of the stress this holiday season by continuing to provide you with the best products and services available. As we have mentioned before, we know it can get a little overwhelming especially when we offer seemingly limitless customization options. In an effort to help expedite this process we’ve put together a little cheat sheet to help inspire not only you but your future holiday guests (even the pesky ones.)
First and foremost we’re going to need a place to gather around and we’ve got plenty of options. 
Serving a large number of people? Many of our tables including our popular Riverwalk Dining Table come in sizes ranging from 6 feet all the way up to 10 feet.
Keep in mind when shopping for dining tables, the standard height for most of our dining tables is 30 inches. As a rule of thumb, shop for chairs (don’t worry, we’ve got plenty of those too) that leave about 12 inches from seat to table giving you and your guests a comfortable amount of room at the table.
If you’re looking for something that offers a bit more flexibility, our Eton dining table is a sophisticated option in the event that unexpected guests arrive. This elegant table offers a classic look and extends out from five feet to seven feet.
You can also go the roundtable route. Great for smaller areas in your home, Steven Shell Living offers plenty of options. Appreciate the unique? Check out our five foot Pompadour Dining Table. The Pompadour table is traditional with a twist offering curved legs reminiscent of an era gone by.
